Standard Magento is not enough when every product needs its own auction price and you want to upload overstock via Excel. We built exactly that.

Blomson sells B2B bicycle parts and wants to clear overstock quickly and efficiently via auctions. The problem: standard Magento has no per-product auction mechanism, no bulk upload via Excel and no mega-menu with visual category icons. Everything had to be built from scratch — without disrupting Magento's core functionality.
Custom extensions on a solid Magento foundation.
Per-product auction module
A custom Magento extension makes it possible to set an auction status, opening bid and duration per product. Bidders can place a bid via a custom product form; the logic validates bids server-side.
Excel upload for overstock
An import module processes an Excel file with product codes, quantities and start prices and automatically creates the corresponding auction products in Magento. This replaces hours of manual entry.
Mega-menu with category icons
The navigation menu was extended with a mega-menu that shows an icon per category. Category icons are managed from the Magento admin without code changes.
Questions form at product level
Buyers can ask a question directly from a product page. The question is linked to the product and forwarded by email to the responsible salesperson.
